That’s one of my all time favorite rally on boards that I have come across. He had a puncture too after that “moment” if I remember correctly

Ari Vatanen won the 1981 rally championship with co-driver David Richards two years before that clip. He has also won Dakar four times, and does pretty good without pace notes. He won Pikes Peak in 1988.
